12 oz Sweet Grass Dairy Pimento Cheese (at room temperature)
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
6 strips of your favorite bacon, cooked and crumbled
Preheat the oven to 300°F.
Remove SGD Pimento Cheese from the refrigerator and let sit until it gets to room temperature.
Remove the chicken from its packaging and rinse with cold water. Dry the chicken with paper towels and place on a baking sheet.
Top each chicken breast with roughly 3 ounces (or more or less to your liking) of SGD Pimento Cheese and spread evenly across the top surface.
Top each chicken breast with crumbled bacon, and any other toppings you’d like.
Put them in the oven for approximately 22-24 minutes.
Remove them from the oven, and check their internal temperature with a kitchen thermometer. The temperature should be above 160°F.
Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes, and serve.
Tip: Try to find chicken breasts that are relatively even in shape if possible. If not, consider using a kitchen mallet to pound the chicken out. You want an even thickness of the chicken to promote the most even cooking.
