Cheesy Garlic Bread

Difficulty level: Easy  


    • 1 loaf French Bread, about 1 lb. 
    • 1 stick salted butter, at room temp. 
    • 6 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1/4 cup Italian salad dressing 
    • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
    • 3 cups Sweet Grass Dairy Georgia Gouda, shredded
    • Fresh Parsley, to garnish 


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 
  2. Combine the butter, garlic, Italian salad dressing, and 1 cup of the shredded Georgia Gouda in a large bowl until well incorporated.
  3. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and spread the top of each half with equal amounts of garlic butter.
  4. Place the halves on a baking sheet, butter side up. Top with Parmesan cheese, then with the remaining Georgia Gouda.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
  6. Increase the oven heat to 450° and bake for up to 8 additional minutes, until the top begins to brown. Keep a close eye on it during this time.
  7. Remove and cut into 1-inch slices. Garnish with parsley.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
