Cranberry Green Hill Crostini

Cranberry Green Hill Crostini

Difficulty level: Easy 

Ingredients:

  • 1 baguette
  • 1 Green Hill
  • olive oil
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 2 tbsp fresh orange zest
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • coarse sea salt
  • fresh thyme (optional) 

 

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. 
  2. Slice baguette into half inch slices. Place on baking sheet and drizzle the slices with olive oil. 
  3. Toast the baguette slices for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown. 
  4. Spread walnuts on another baking sheet and toast until fragrant, about 7 minutes. Watch them carefully so they don't burn.
  5. Slice Green Hill into thin pieces and place 1 piece on each crostini and place back in the oven until the Green Hill is melted. 
  6. Remove from the oven and top each crostini with cranberry sauce and a couple of toasted walnut pieces. 
  7. Sprinkle with orange zest, sea salt, and thyme (if using). 
  8. Enjoy!
