Green Hill & Turkey Grilled Cheese
Difficulty level: Easy
Ingredients:
4 slices sourdough bread
4 tsp whole-grain mustard
1/2 wheel of Green Hill
1 cup fresh spring greens
5-6 oz of turkey
2 tbsp butter
Directions:
Heat
1 tablespoon of butter
in a
large pan
over medium heat until it melts.
While the
butter
is melting, assemble the sandwiches. Start by spreading mustard across each slice of bread in a thin, even layer.
Add a few slices of Green Hill to each slice of bread on top of the mustard.
Then add a handful of greens on top of two of the pieces of bread.
Then add a few slices of turkey on top of the greens.
Fold the mustard and Green Hill slices over the turkey, creating two sandwiches.
Add to the pan and saute for 2-3 minutes or until the sandwich is dark golden brown and toasted.
Flip, add remaining tablespoon
butter
to the pan, swirl sandwiches around to soak up the
butter
.
Cook for 1-2 minutes, then cover with a lid and cook for another minute or until that side is also dark golden brown and the Green Hill is melted.
Slice and enjoy!
