Pimento Cheese Grits

Difficulty level: Easy  

Ingredients: 

    • 4 cups of whole milk
    • 1 cup Quick Grits (or whichever grits you prefer) 
    • 1 tsp salt 
    • 1/2 cup Sweet Grass Dairy Pimento Cheese
    • 1 tbsp butter
    • 1 tsp Tony Cachere's seasoning (or something similar) 
    • 1 tsp black pepper
    • Optional: 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper

Directions: 

  1. Cook grits according to package directions with 4 cups of whole milk and 1 tsp salt. This should take roughly 10-15 minutes.
  2. When grits are cooked to your liking, remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients.
  3. Serve warm and enjoy!
